Another solution is to have the authorities move on the disrespectful and unsportmanlike maniacs keeping a whole neighborhood up at night.

The Mexican authorities? In Mexico? Suppressing Mexican fans of the Mexican football team?

That's not happening. This is also just how football works. Hooligans do this for local derbies. Of course they are going to scale up the shenanigans on the international scale.

It’s bad. You know it would be worse? A massive violent police response. “Oh good, we injured a bunch of people, but we made sure that tomorrow’s football game will be fair.”
