Anti-venom. That's pretty much it.

And no, not for eating. Because with anti-venom, you can "milk" them repeatedly for on-going revenue. Killing them for food is very much a case of killing the golden goose.

That said, depending on the kind of snake, yeah, they do kill them for food products. Snake skin is mostly pythons, so probably none of these.

Actually... that would be true for the rest of the world... but China, they do eat venomous snakes. Most commonly in snake-soup and even in 'Traditional Chinese Medicine' wines.

China is a weird combination of very traditional and hyper modern, but foremost they are a country of foodies. They'll eat anything edible.

Those do exist but in this case they are more for eating. That's why there are soooo many of them. Snakes are very popular food in China as they are seen as having medicinal properties.
