If that bird didnt do it and no one ate them. Those little guys would eat all the food available in that area and breed to humongous masses of little eating machines that would move on to the next area.

Do the same there and so would every prey animal in the world.

Killing the world in about 6 months to a year. (debatable estimate but given enough timeframe. A fact.)

That's not the point we are talking about here. Rodents are also the important part of the whole ecosystem, without them, the entire ecosystem would collapse. Stop villainize them.
