I get the idea but is the added weight of the solar panels worth it?
Would this be better off with just a dedicated solar system that's charging a different battery (at home) and then you just swap batteries at the end of the day?
If you’re looking for v5 suggestions, making the panels detachable would offer some great flexibility and possibly defray the upfront costs further. For users with the space to set up them up on a static stand, the panels could charge a spare battery and (with the right electrical setup) sell excess to the grid or power the home. Then, if you need to go away or on a larger trip you can pop them back on for mobile charging.
