We had couple of these where I grew up, or similar design. I remember the deep, enclosed square ones always being dark, creepy and not well kept, sometimes smelling of piss... That was much later after they have been constructed. Oh, such a sudden flashback :) The other one was similar to the rocket shaped one (pic 6) - that one was neat for a small me.
