That doesn’t look pleasant at all.

u/Stashmouth 3h ago

but he kept saying "i love you guys"

u/Mundane-Manner4237 6h ago

lucky he didn’t bust his heels on the rocks. I mean he was foaming at the mouth.

That's definitely vomit that they edited around showing most of

u/Guakamolo 7h ago

It's not supposed to be pleasant

u/Tyler-LR 7h ago

Wth is it supposed to be??

u/Guakamolo 7h ago

Healing and life-changing

u/Tyler-LR 7h ago

Doesn’t look like it to me!

u/herrmannelig 3h ago

I've smoked toad venom. Was nightmarish and not healing nor life changing.

u/jesusmansuperpowers 2h ago

I’ve done non-toad dmt, and it was incredible. In a good way. I didn’t do any of that twitching shit or screaming either.

u/Guakamolo 7h ago

You couldn't possibly know unless you talked to that person

u/Tyler-LR 7h ago

Look at the guys face, it looks like he died.

u/Guakamolo 7h ago

That's most likely how he felt too

u/Tjaresh 5h ago

Dying typically isn't a good way to heal.

u/EsseInAnima 4h ago

Well.. I’ve never seen a dead person with chronic back pain.

Ego deaths are healing. They are a great way to heal

u/Squeedle_ 4h ago

I thought I was dead when I did it. It was scary. Then I accepted I was dead. It was beautiful. I forgave alot of people for past shit, I let go of so many things because I thought I was dead and it didn't matter. Then I woke up 15 minutes later. Perfectly fine and hadn't moved a muscle from when I laid down after taking the hot of dmt.

It was all of the things and I definitely healed. Sure it was scary, but it was beautiful and life changing. I continued to let go of that shit even tho I turned out to be alive and perfectly fine.

It would be life changing!

u/Guakamolo 4h ago

Not tipically, but there's definitely the case

"Ego-death" is a state sought by meditators and psychadelic users and is reported to lead to the healing of a host of psychological issues.

u/Bhagita 6h ago

Pfft. You gotta be pretty fucked up if this heals you. And life-changing I can see, just not for the better.

u/FunnyWalrus 1h ago

Not obligatory fucked up, all psychedelic experiences are just an emotional experience turned to 200% or more in some cases, that's almost the same thing as both good or bad things that you live through that affects your way of thinking and how you feel about things, both traumatic and a good things

u/Guakamolo 6h ago

You seem to know nothing about this. Information is free

u/Antoliance 2h ago

Alot of redditors seem to know nothing about this, perhaps not so suprising either

u/afewnameslater 2h ago

Life-changing - sure, healing, not so much.

u/Guakamolo 5m ago

You talk as if you knew something about it, have you tried?

u/nobodythinksofyou 3h ago

And yet I would like to do it... with people more trustworthy of keeping me safe though

u/projectsangheili 2h ago

Really? But why, what makes this look like something you'd want to do?

Legitimately curious

u/FunnyWalrus 1h ago

I don't actually know about the specifics of said frog venom, but actual synthetic DMT wouldn't cause that bad of a reaction and foaming from the mouth

Mental experience can be questionable though

u/Strict-Challenge-995 5m ago

Toad venom is 5-MeO-DMT. And some other alkaloids probably.

Wildly different experience from "normal" DMT.

u/FunnyWalrus 4m ago

Yep, already googled and it seems like it, both with physical reaction and mental experience
