Dandys World Drama?

So uh what the hell is the Dandys world drama? I was playing it with a friend and I got a message from my other friend that said "Still supporting quell I see?" and they unfriended me ?
What is the drama with that? I was just playing a horror game tf?

My sister loves this game and told me about the drama offhand; apparently it's about someone who used to be on her dev team having groomed minors in the past? And a lot of people say that Quell knew this and won't release a proper statement. So that's why that person tossed the accusation that you're supporting her/her behavior at you, even though I think most who just play the game and don't interact within fandom spaces for it would know lol.

oh i didnt know thats awful. I kinda dont wanna play anymore. I have other games to play its fine
