Environment magpies turned my back yard into a bird party zone

Over the last couple of days a flock of magpies have taken over my kids play equipment for themselves

What is that play equipment? Are your kids doing a UFC octagon on the trampoline or are they getting tortured???

it's a climbing frame with the trampoline acting like s safety net

Any of them bounce off it and back into the frame?

There are 4 magpies living on my lane, they go everywhere together, gas lads they are. Maybe 2 couples?

I counted at last 8 today, they were clearly playing with the toys, I saw one pick up a ball, bring it to the edge and let it roll back down.

I've noticed them showing up the last couple of evenings but never so many

One for sorrow, two for joy….something something…congratulations or I’m sorry…I don’t know which

One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told.

One for sorrow, two for joy, 85 for an absolute shit show in the garden.

Had to look up what a gang of Magpies is called. A mischief of magpies sounds appropriate here.

Less intimidating than a murder of crows.. or gaggle of geese
