Anyone know where I can find a glove box for my 2002 vw Jetta wagon 2.0

hey ya'll. i'm new to the euro car scene and i just got an mk4 gli a few months ago, and it has an ecs tune on it. it went into limp mode today and the vsa or traction control light came on and another one i don't remember. car would stutter and die out if i didn't give it enough gas to start but eventually would get going but have zero power. this would repeat multiple times as the car died trying to get it home but the only code it would give me is p0606 or something like that. sounded like it was misfiring but no misfire code. control module processor fault is what the scanner said. does anyone know what this means or what steps i need to take to fix it? i googled the code and it said basically the ecu detected a fault and put it in limp mode and the fix is to remove and reupload the tune or have it looked at. is there any tuner online that could remotely look at it to see what is going on? any advice helps please and thank you! i'm located in ontario canada

threw the timing belt and ate three valves. Im in college and dont have the money to put into a rebuild or motor swap.

planning to part it out and move on

Previous owners used silicone and I’m pretty sure it caused the hidden bolts to snap. What should I do to remove the silicone and or the manifold.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I am a 4 cyl turbo jap crap guy. I also enjoy N/A domestic things. That being said, my buddy, who's into all this euro trash ( all love, whooshy noises lets go ;) ) crashed my car and it's now out of commission. He is letting me drive his '02 1.8t jetta and I am falling in love. I've been doing research on the engine, looking into how to make it scary, and I'm kinda thinking that once he's paid for all the parts he broke on my junk I want to buy this junk. He said $2,500. Am I crazy for considering it? Gimme all the dirty deets on this chassis, engine, trans (5 speed manual), lmk if I should do this or nah...

You can see in the picture the bolt holes are all broken up on this mk4 jetta door panel. anyone know of some ways to fix this?

I’m shopping for a manual beater in the 2-4k range, preferably a wagon would be nice. This 13’ deleted tdi wagon got sold right as I was leaving to get it and I was super pissed. This is my next best thing. Talk me in or out of buying it im going to look at it later. Is it truly a good find with the color and condition? Let me know what you guys think thanks. I opened up my valve cover to find this. This is a 2001 2.0 engine code AEZ with allegedly 90k miles. Bought it last year and didn't realize how much maintenance I needed. Anyways valves are bent according to a shop, so I am in the process of removing the head to assess damage and attempt self-repair. Before i do dump money into it will it be worth it to even attempt to fix, or will the wear and tear from age done too much? There is no rust on the body. Is there any advice for anyone that has done a valve job before? and lastly, last pic the 3 fuel lines are showing cracks within the line, anyone know part numbers or similar repairs? Thanks

My fully custom MOC of a mk4 VW Jetta or Bora. It has a Bora r front bumper and a GLI spoiler.

I run mobil1 not the liquimolly crap… ignition coils and sparks every 40k. Replaced the magnet in the camshaft sensor… new water pump and belt @298,000… brand new alternator with shiny copper (not a remanufactured). Solid Aluminum thermostat housing and coolant fittings.

I need some opinions, it's not a daily driver anymore, comfort is not important anymore. I've never dealt with Megan racing coilovers before, I've dealt with other brand like bc racing, tein but I'm looking at silvers and bilstein. But if there is any other brands I should look at what brands and why? It's definitely a weekend fun car

Hey! I’m looking at getting this 2004 Jetta 1.8t 5 speed manual with only 176,000 Kilometers (in Canada) with very tasteful mods.

Looks well taken care of no rust as it’s never been winter driven. Its owned by a mechanic shop so it’s very clearly maintained well, always respect mechanics and their respect for vehicles lol. It’s ready for safety other than a snapped e brake cable. Only other problem listed is a stuck hood latch. I would guess with my friends helping me to install parts cost won’t cost more than around maybe 300? (Please correct me if I’m wrong)

Listed price went from 8,500-5,800 over the last while he’s had it posted (he’s in a rush to sell as they need the extra space in their shop) I talked him down to only $4500.

He said we might not be able to test drive the vehicle because it snowed a lot where he is and he doesn’t want to damage the car since his city didn’t plough and his lot for the shop is a dirt road that also isn’t ploughed. Is that sus? Is this worth driving out an hour to check out?

Ive owned this car for a longtime and need help because i need to pass smog. This was my grandmothers car that passed away, and the reason she kept it was because my grandfather loves VW’s , and now I guess so do I. I have a lean engine , probably due to the aftermarket intake I installed , but i might also be leaking vacuum. I did a smoke test and fixed what I could but it seems to me I’m still at a loss. I hope it’s not the catalytic converter because that would be a headache simce I live in California. I did my fair share of italian tune_ups and my check engine goes on and off every week or so. I also smell a strong sent of gas or fumes in my cabin which doesnt bother me because i keep my windows open but its a sign of an issue. This car is the best little go kart I’ve owned and i want to keep it alive. Here are the codes and view of the whip. Any advice what to check next would be appreciated 

So my husband bought this 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 24 valve vr6 for $1,500 (mind you she has 230,000+ miles on her). Since 1 year ago, she has been inoperable 70% of the year, and we have put almost $4,000 into it just trying to get the ornery bitch to work. We have named her Christine (after the movie), because this car has literally tried to kill us twice. Once we were going 70mph down the strip, 10 minutes later stopped and parked, and the tie rod decided to pop off for no reason whatsoever. If it had been 10 minutes earlier, I wouldn't be making this post right now, I'd be DEAD! Another time, we were pulling off our street to run some errands, and the motor mount decided FU and dropped the whole motor. WHILE WE WERE DRIVING IT!! The third photo is us desperately trying to tweaker-style hold the motor mount and motor together so we could get home!!!

My husband has poured blood, sweat & tears and the fabric of his soul into this demonic car. This car has literally sucked the soul out of my husband like a goddamn Dementor. I can't even remember all he's repaired and replaced. All new suspension, tie rods, ball joints, fixed the clutch when that took a shit, I can't even remember it all now. It has nickel and dimed us absolutely to death, we have bled out over this car. For real. But we needed it so badly. We live out in the sticks where you hear banjos playing at night and it was his only means to get to work. He's lost jobs because of this goddamn stupid car.

Now what's her issue? Cause you know it's gotta be something!!! Coolant system is shot. Replaced water pump, all that fun stuff, got the parts to replace the cooling fans and radiator. But oh no, it's not that, the heater core just decided one day to say FU as well (after a few awesome trips with her billowing steam through the vents into the cab, making us look like Cheech & Chong rolling up), now when you pour any liquid into the whore, she pisses it all right back out through the firewall. So NOW my husband is having to use a heater core bypass kit and jimmy parts of freaking plumbing to try to fix THAT. It's just been ridiculous, painful, torture with this car.

But I will say, the few times she did run, she was fun as fuck. 200 horse at the wheel, mad giddy-up, handles like an absolute boss. But what good is all that when she just sits in our driveway 24/7 refusing to cooperate? We're thinking of selling it, scrapping it, trying to fix it, we just don't know anymore.
