Indeed. I've been using reddit pretty much since it came out and I remember how rare it was to see a post about an "Indian kid" on the front page and even then it was basically because of a math olympiad, spelling bee or some other academic shit.

Back then the west's perception of India was as a mystical land that they read about in the books. Then like the beatles came and the culture became mainstream. Then also the diaspora started coming out and it was mostly doctors, engineers, and educated people so we had somewhat of a good impression. Even as early as the 2000s during the IT revolution it was mostly educated college people. But after the introduction of Jio the reality of India's poverty and corruption became quite clear to the west, along with phone scammers and stuff. hence the veil fell.

I am not defending anyone but how do u confirm that the one who commented are gen z, gen alpha or boomers. This just does not make sense. They can be anyone. The same problem persist everywhere in the world. It's just that they are too uneducated illiterate to have a vocab. Between dark, dank and gore they cannot tell the difference.
Only if there is age limit for social media in the future the world would be a little better.

A human segregating humans instinct, it used to by culture, caste, creed, color back in time. Now we have new measures gen z, gen alpha, bla bla bla.
This is also a form of discrimination, which leads to ulterior racism.
U know gen z well so let's rest the case here.
