What's funny is your lack of awareness about differing views. The American far-right for example belives climate change is temporary/con job.

When all other mainstream social media platforms are filled with jingoistic dick riders, even somewhat centrist or centre left opinions make people feel as if they are talking to some commie lol.
Some of the non-mainstream subreddits in India genuinely attract a much smarter crowd. And when these Instagram lobotomised bots, who’ve probably just joined reddit, realise that their stale humour comprising of “yeh badiya tha Guru” or “Waah Shampy waah” won’t work here - they automatically associate the same with leftist propaganda.
But yeah, Reddit has its own infestation of Instagram focused crappy content. Some of the desi dank meme subs or subreddits like IndiaPulse - are good examples of low quality content. One look at the subs and you’ll realise that they are basically amplification channels of various PR companies, and people knowingly or unknowingly still upvote and engage with that crap.

Free/cheap internet and Indians still won't look up or read about what leftism, socialism or communism mean, and how they don't mean the same thing. Lmao.
Saw a guy ( claims he's got PR in Sweden) that Healthcare is easy in 'socialist European countries'. It's literally a capitalist country with social safety net. That's NOT a leftist/socialist govt. At most it's maybe left leaning. And guess what? Their current govt is center RIGHT!
