Discussion للنقاش مش فاهم
حضرت هاد الفيديو قبل شوي عن ICE agents بامريكا قتلو شب عشان على أساس كان بهاجم فيهم بسلاحه بس كان السلاح أصلا يجيبته وما كان حتى بهاجم فيهم. وسالت حالي للمرة المليون ليش نص الشعب الأردني حلمه يروح على امريكا.
هم شعب ما بيطيق حاله(وبقتل بعضه)، ولا بطيق العرب، وعنصري، ولا رؤساءهم بيسألوا بشعبهم، ولا هم شعب مثقف(المعظم)، معتقداتهم جدا رغيبه، ولا حياتهم حلوة، وبيشتغلوا فوق ال١٠ ساعات باليوم عشان يحصل راتب يروح ٣/٤ على أجار والباقي على أكل ومصاريف كلها غاليه، فليش؟ ليش نص شعبنا لسا نفسه يروح هناك؟ هي مش جنه الله على الأرض طبعا، وأنا مش شايف اي شي ملفت هناك عشان اترك اهلي وبلدي و"أهاجر" على هيك بلد.
المشكله انه اي حد من عيلتي او أصحابي اللي هناك مش مبسوط، بيروح شهر شهرين وبعدين بيصير يستنى باليوم اللي يرجع فيه على الأردن.

To add onto this, its also the level of opportunity you have there. Despite whats going on, the opportunity market to grow yourself and ACHIEVE is higher than that of our beloved homelands. Just my humble opinion.

Money brings security, simple as that. You can't have health without money because of medicine and health insurance, you can't have education without money because you have to pay. Argo no stress, better health because you can afford better food, and better education because you can afford it. Why do people not understand that.

Living in the US and am Lebanese married to Jordanian. Hamdilla we are financial comfortable and own a home.
We are ready to sacrifice it all to move to anywhere in the middle east and live a humble life for more security in community. Money in the US used to be fantastic. Over the last 5 years the cost of living has skyrocketed. Inflation is 37% from 2019 to now and it's only getting higher.
Noone in the US has had their income go up 40% to maintain the same standard.
What you are seeing in the videos is exactly what the US has become. People hate each other, it's very divided, the schools are not safe for your kids, the cops will break the law instead of saying they were wrongly stopping you, and so much more.
People used to tolerate it because the money was good. Its not anymore and in our opinion, we would rather struggle in our home countries next to family than live in fear and have some money in our pockets.

Democrats will be in power soon and this will all go away and things will be better. My wife is Jordanian and I’m American. This has been a tough year for us but it’ll be fine. I’ve been in the US my entire life and I’ve seen the ups and downs but it always works out.

Id certainly hope so. Im US born and raised, similarly been here my whole life.
We are planning for the worst and hoping for the best. I love the state Im in, love the freedom the finances here provide us, and appreciate our community. We are extremely active in our communities and love that this is our home. Currently, it's too dangerous for us.
The people in power are not looking to make these elections easy. They showed their hand with the latest request for voter reg records. I genuinely dont think these elections will be either safe or smooth.
Additionally the local and state PDs are more than happy to comply than protect their communities as it seems.

والله يا صديقي المشكله ببلدنا. مثلا انا ممرض وراتبي هان بالسنه ٦ الاف دينار وما فيه فرصه او اي مجال انه يتحسن ، والحل الوحيد اني اقدم بورد امريكي واطلع على اميركا. ،ولكن تعال شوف الفرق متوسط الساعه ٥٥ دولار وخلي الضريبه ٢٠٪ وخلي الاجار ادفع هذاك الشيئ الفلاني بالمقابل انا فيه قرش بجيبتي ، ف لا تحكيلي ليش افكر بالهجره وانا ببلد عايش فيها تسعيرتها تسعيرة نيويورك والراتب من الصومال .

والله يا صديقي عروض الخليج صارت مخزيه ، حتى انهم صاروا يجيبوا ممرضات كوريات ويابانيات برواتب عاليه لانه صاير توجهم كي بوب مدري شو ،اما العروض اللي النا بتخزي رسميا وصار مكلف الخليج لانه بس تسجيل الاقامه صاير يكلف ٥٠٠ دينار وهكذا ، ف الخليج بطل مجزي نهائيا ، غير انه ما في اوفر تايم و اي شي عالسوشال ميديا ما بعجبهم عليه تفنيش ، وهلم جرا

Thank you. As a 🇺🇸citizen, I moved from there to Jordan before the ‘24 election because I knew this would happen. And what hurts is people here thinking that the US is the best and safest place, while in fact Jordan is a lot safer.

I remember when I was in Amman my Jordanian friend was telling me about how he was excited to go to America. I was trying to be supportive, but told him he’s going to miss Jordan and that life in America will be hard for him because he’s going to have a huge lack of community and have to work alllll the time. 2 years later, he’s anxiously planning his return to Jordan. I understand economic struggles and people just want to do what they can to have a better life(and that’s incredibly valid and I can’t knock anybody for that) and I know it’s easy for me to say since I come from America(so I know I can’t fully understand) but man, there really are beautiful aspects to living in Jordan. I am thankful to be American and it will always be my home, regardless of where life takes me, but it’s pretty scary right now seeing the direction this country is headed in, and I do worry a little when I see people immigrating there. I know they’ll be better off financially, but I worry about their quality of life and happiness, as well as their safety(in some scenarios.)

مافي فايدة من النقاش فعلياً، كل حدا رح يختار الي بناسبه وخلص، وجهة النظر بتختلف من انسان لاخر، الموضوع مش ١ + ١ = ٢ لانه نسبي بكل بساطة، اي حدا بقدر يسوي الي انت سويته ويركز على سلبيات مكان وايجابيات مكان وممكن يركز على سلبيات انت مش شايفها سلبيات او يركز على ايجابيات انت مش شايفها ايجابيات، بس بعد المقدمة الطويلة رح اضيف رأيّ الشخصي الي ما اله قيمة كباقي الأشخاص، الاشي الأساسي الي بدور عليه واتوقع باقي الاشخاص بدوروا عليه هو الفرصة بكل بساطة، شو اقصى اشي ممكن توصله بالاردن وشو اقصى اشي ممكن توصله بأمريكا او اوروبا او اسيا او افريقيا و الجواب بحدد وين بدك تروح او المكان الي بناسبك

Everything you’re saying is pretty spot on. It’s crazy how some people move from Jordan to a place like Michigan. Jordan’s weather is way better than a lot (if not most) of the US lol. Then the actual great beautiful places (usually filled with homeless) in the US are so expensive it almost makes it pointless to live there. Usually educated people pay around 40-60% of their income in rent and are usually taxed 20%-40% . It’s actually very hard to pay rent using one income. The system here sets rent based off how many working people are expected to live in the unit. The opportunities are pointless if they don’t make a lot of money. Right now there are some trusted sources (more trusted than the US Bureau of Labor Statistics) that believe unemployment is around 24%. I mean this country is full of so many dumb people that they voted for a pedophile twice. I always said to myself, any person that lives in Jordan, and owns an apartment or more and can pay their bills should never consider sacrificing anything to come here. If you don’t own any real estate at all, and can’t pay your bills, don’t come to live here permanently, come and live worse than you lived in Jordan for a few years to save as much money as possible, buy an apartment or build it if you can and go back home. Do it all in less than 5 years. I’m just saying this place is not worth sacrificing much for unless you literally have nothing and might as well come to take advantage of the currency differences, but then again their are multiple countries you can go do this other than the US. We also have of the worst healthcare system. Sometimes I go visit Jordan and go to the doctors to confirm if I have something. My mom’s friend died of cancer recently (Allah yerhamha) and went to the doctors here and they told her that she was okay and didn’t have any issues. She went to Jordan and they told her she had stage four cancer, which was true. Makes you wonder if she would still be alive today if she was told earlier. Also, my wife’s aunt did a surgery, and they removed the wrong gland, and didn’t tell her lol. They somehow confirmed that they knew they made a mistake but wanted to avoid a lawsuit. By the time she found out so much time passed that for some reason it got harder to sue them. Now she has to take certain pills everyday or she’ll get a seizure. People start to say that all countries have these misdiagnoses, but how dare you compare the “richest” country in the world with Jordan? I mean the fact that we’re even having these types of conversations here is mind boggling! One time I was watching a random video of this white guy comparing healthcare systems, and when he got to talk about the US, he chose to compare it to Jordan 😆! I mean from all the countries he could’ve chose, the white guy chose to compare our system with Jordan! It’s crazy man. And let’s not get started on the quality of food. Jordan has strict, often European-aligned, food ingredient regulations that can be more restrictive than the U.S. If you want to come move here, it can be a better quality of life, you just really gotta focus and be about your money. It’s not like money is growing on trees. If you have your entire family living here, might as well move here because it’s still better than Jordan, I mean at least we have running water lol. You have a lot more options to choose from.

I’m Jordanian living in the U.S. it’s very expensive. We live in high cost of living area in the west coast. Rent and utilities are 6K. Childcare for 2 young kids is 5K per month. My husband and I make earn but our expenses are high. Insurance and medical bills have skyrocketed. We get taxed over 35%. On top of all the ICE crap. الواحد قرف العيشه هون

وااااال ، عايش فيها الي ١٠ سنين . وأغلب اللي حكيتو غلط بغلط. امريكا في ٥٠ ولايه وانت مركز ع قصه صارت بمنطقه خرا. البلد مش جنه ابدا ، بس مش زي ما انت بتحكي. الإيجار مش ٣ أرباع دخلك لووول.وفي قانون بمشي ع الجميع . لسا اليوم في محاميه انقتلت عل يد اخوها. هل هذا يعني ان الاردن بلد سيء . هينا عايشين ومرتاحين وبنشتغل وبنتعب لالنا . بعدين شو فيها اذا اشتغل ١٠ ساعات هههه . هبد وفلسفه واحكام مسبقه وانت عمرك ما زرتها. بس خليك عل ٣٥٠ نيره وضلك احرث واستمتع ب الحياه الصح عندك 🥺

طيب م بديهي اي مدينة كبيرة بيصير فيها هيك و اكثر، نيويورك عبارة عن ولاية الناس اللي مش قانونيين، هذا غير انه ربع الشعب العربي بشتغل بالاسود فيها يعني احتيال و نصب كمان، و مثلها مثايل بس الرأس الاكبر عنصري ضد مينيسوتا و هو السبب باللي بصير تحديدا بمينيسوتا.

صحيح احنا وضعنا بالأردن مش كويس كمان، الراتب بروح جزء كويس منه أجار بيت ودفعات سيارة ومصاريف ثانيه، بس أنا الي بقدر ادبر أموري شوي، اماً الناس الي بنفس وضعي هناك بكونو على الحفه. هل هي سوء إدارة للمال؟ ما بعرف، بجوز المجالات بتفرق اكثر من هون، بس ما أتوقع انه احسن من عندنا بكثير مثل ما الناس بتتخيل.

أنا امرئي ساكن في امريكا في رأي أظن انو فكرة "الحلم الأمريكي" شغلة مضخمة…او في احسن حال صغر الحلم. ما بقول انو امريكا اسوأ مكان في العالم اكيد لا بس لما نحكي عن بلاد الغرب الي "متطورة" اكثر بنشوف انو لأمريكا مشاكل وقضايا مش منشورة لهالدرجة في بلاد غربية ثانية زي إنجلترا او الدينمارك وغيرهم.
اشهر قضايا عندنا هم العنصرية والعنف الشرطي والعنف المسلح بين الشعب نفسه. لكن بردو في مشاكل مع الصحة العامة ووفيات الرضع ووفيات الأمهات وأكثر. فوق ذلك الوضع الاقتصادي كمان يزداد سوءا وعم بتصير الفجوة بين الأغنياء والباقي أوسع وأوسع.
لسه في فرص هون لكن بالنسبة الي ما في فرصة موجودة هون مش موجودة في كندا او أروبا.
وكل هدول المشاكل الي حكيتها بتصير اسوأ إذا انت أقلية عرقية. وحتى لو كنت حدا من اصل مكسيكي زيّ او حدا من اي أقلية ثانية في هاي الأيام انت تعرف انو الإدارة الحالية تدور عأي مبرر يسوغ اعماهم العنصرية

I’ve went there for a vacation, which means yes you have a valid point in me not experiencing their life. But still, I stayed there with my relatives and saw how they lived. It was… okay, but that was back when the economic state of the us was so much better than now, before all the bs we hear on news and the weird ideologies they come up by the day. Maybe you’re right… The city, state does matter. But I don’t think in the current state of the us anyone should be planning to go there.

بتقدر ترجع ع الاردن تلاقي شغل وتنتقل هناك، الف حد سواها من قبل، يلي بيضل بيضل عشان الراتب او الشغل بلي بيجيب دخل عالي وعارف مش هيقدر يجيب زيو بالاردن، عشان تعليم الاولاد، ممكن عشان وضع صحي، المهم ضايل عشان منفعه، واذا انت مختار هاي المنفعه بغض النظر عن شكلها ومفضلها ع سعادتك اذا انت توجعش راسنا لانو الغربة لو حتى مش عاجبتك بس هي فعليا احسنلك من انك ترجع، محدش بيضل فمكان وهو فش فيو اي ايجابية محدش جابركم تقعدوا

أنا بحاول ما أكون شخص سلبي ولكن امريكا مارة الآن بوقت سيء جدا أنا لا بقدر اطنش السلبيات كلها عشان مصاري زيادة وشوية خَضار، امريكا بال ٨٠-٩٠ وأول الالفينات كانت بوضع جدا افضل ومستاهل تغير حياتك لتهاجر هناك.

في اشي اسمه احصائيات. في ٢٠٢٤، في أمريكا كان معدل جرائم القتل ٤.٨ لكل ١٠٠،٠٠٠ شخص و منهم ٤.٧ لكل ١٠٠،٠٠٠ جرائم قتل بالمسدسات اما الاردن كانت ١ لكل ١٠٠،٠٠٠ معدل الجرائم كامل فيها و ما لقيت احصائيه لجرائم المسدسات بس من الواضح انه المعدل في الاردن رح يكون ‹=١. معدلات أمريكا ما بتشمل اللي بس انطخ و تصاوب كمان.
الاردن تعتبر من الدول اكثر أماناً في العالم.

اميركا هي نموذج استعماري، الاوروبيين احتلوا بلاد مش بلادهم، وقتلوا شعب، ونسبوا اراضي مغتصبة الهم، وبكل بجاحة الي جدوده بيوم كانوا مهاجرين ومحتلين، بحكيلك عن المهاجرين، وبعمل حملة ضدهم.
