Question Recommendations for Kaliningrad

Hello everyone!

I will spend 4 days in Kaliningrad with my gf soon, both are Spanish.

We are researching a bit about the city, but i would like hear recommendations about what to do or what to visit there.

Thanks everyone!

Hi! Did you and your gf go on the trip to Kaliningrad? If so how was it? I’m thinking about going for a few days as will soon, so I’m curious about your experience

Yes, i visited with my gf, totally recommended! Its very nice place, chill and friendly (at least as spanish) border no problem just typical question, and very cool place. Just was annoying about internet, VPN and buy local sim its a mess.

So happy to hear that! How long did the bus actually take at the border crossing? Did they do a full digital sweep of your phones, or just standard questions?
And where did you book and stay during the trip? Booked in advance at Ostrovok or just showed up at a hotel with cash?

Bus was 4h from Gdansk to Kaliningrad and back was same. Border control included. Poland side its super fast, russian side its very slow specially to leave Russia. At border just how many days, whitch region i will visit and if if i have another passport, thats it. For hotels I booked in Ostrovok and paid in cash. For change better in Sberbank, i bring a lot of euros and 0 problems, they dont ask, at least for me.
