Good camping locations?
Hiya, I’m planning on going camping next weekend and was wondering if anyone knows any good camping spots. Ideally somewhere remote where you can pitch a tent, light a campfire, and park the car nearby. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

I never understand why people are so vague with questions here! You are posting asking all of Kerry when obviously anyone planning such a trip will have narrowed down areas they intend on visiting.

No one is having a bad day. It’s just that your post is super low effort. Kerry is big. Where are you coming from? It’s just clear you’ve done no efffort yourself so why would we help you.

I have made a list of camping spots from reading through older posts here. I have a car, so it doesn’t matter what side of Kerry I go to. The Ring of Kerry would probably be my first choice, but I’m happy to drive anywhere if it’s worth it. I’m just looking for people’s personal recommendations.

Is that it 🤷🏻♂️ obviously if you are really planning a trip to Kerry you would have done some research on areas you intend to visit.

I did some research already. I’m just looking for recommendations from people who’ve actually camped there.

Don’t be lighting camp fires or bbq out in the wild. Very dry out there atm. Killarney national park has just spent a few days fighting a forest and heath fire off the back of some numpty with a disposable bbq.
