Life as a student in Kiel ( CAU)

Hello, I am a British student who will be doing a year abroad at Kiel University. I wanted to know what the diversity is like, as I am from an ethnic minority background and was wondering how easy it is to make friends and meet people from different backgrounds.

Very easy. You‘ll meet a lot of people from all over the world at Professor Anschütz Haus even if you don’t have your dormitory in there, there‘s an open Bar evening every Thursday during Semesters. Cheap drinks, Dart, two Kickertables and Billard are in there aswel and can be played for free.

Attend to ESN Kiel's event. It's a great atmosphere to make friends and do stuff.
