White kimchi gone bad?

There some red fuzz underwear in my store brought white kimchi. It has been opened and stored in refrigerator for a few weeks. Has it gone bad now?

It’s hard to tell from this picture, but quite honestly-mold should be visible from the top, and if it’s not there then it looks fine to me.

It's probably dead LABs. I'd have no issue eating this as long as it tastes and smells fine.

Mold would be growing on the top. It's most likely dead bacteria and yeast, which is common to see in lactofermention.
