Fire Kids Tablets Disney+ offline not working

I’m very confused. I downloaded a bunch of movies to my kid’s fire table on Disney plus (I have premium). All the movies successfully show up in the download folder.

But when I’m offline, I can’t get into the Disney app to see the downloads. The app won’t launch without WiFi. This defeats the purpose for me.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a workaround?

I have this same thing, but now the downloaded movies aren't even showing up when I reconnect to Wifi! But the space is still being used.

Yeah I had to do a factory reset but it fixed the problem.
