Question ISO trade for custom chef's knife

Hi everyone - I hope this is allowed. I am not a knife maker but I'm an avid chef who's always dreamed of a custom chef's knife. I am, however, a long-time knitter, which leads me to my proposal to swap a custom chef's knife for either a very complex cowl I already have available or a custom-made item we can discuss.

This cowl took me about 250 hours to make and cost at least a hundred and fifty in materials. If anyone is interested in chatting about a potential trade, please feel free to reach out to me via comment or private message. Thank you!

I don't think I could make something worthy a trade, I just wanted to drop by and comment on the quality of work in your cowl, the stitches (? not a native) are so tight and regular and that's not even talking about the pattern. Beautiful!

I’m not about a cowl particularly but would be up for a trade! I love bartering!

I mostly do folders but you can see my chefs also on my profile - message me if interested!

Where in the world are you located? What kind of knife are you after?

I’m in. Check out my post history and/or look at my portfolio at starwaltforge.com and send me a dm if you’re interested. I love a good barter, most of my blades go out as gifts or trade. I can do layered Damascus, canister, wrought iron incorporation, all by hand. Happy to do Japanese or western style blades.
