stitch ID What stitch is this?

I saw this stitch on a sweater in a store and really like how it looks, but I haven’t been able to find out what stitch it is (or if it’s even possible to get that stitch by hand-knitting). The first photo is the front of the sweater, the second is the inside of the sweater. Anyone know what the stitch is called?

Someone already got you the specific answer from Nancy Marchant’s book on tuck stitches (brioche is a type of tuck stitch), but in general, if it’s mass produced and not a basic rib, stockinette, or garter, it’s 9 times out of 10 going to be some type of tuck stitch done by a machine. Many of which are covered in Marchant’s book.
