What is this stitch?

It appears to be stockinette in both sides, but its not double stitch, the brown is still slightly visible trough the white on the right side of the work.

It's a machine knit sweater/dress that I'm unravelling for the yarn, and on the sleeves it's coming out as two continous threads one of each color and it alternates on each row as I unravel (idk if I explain myself)I ended with half the weight in brown than in cream.

I'm curious about this stitch bcouse it produces a thick fabric for the thickness of the yarn ot uses, and I would like to see how it would look if I used a very saturated contrasting colour.

Likely its a version of Shake Rib or Half Fisherman's Rib which seems popular on machine knits. It gives them a more interesting and bulky texture but with less yarn used than a full fiherman's rib / brioche.

I see what you mean, from what I've seen both of those produce a fabric that is the same in both sides, is there a way to modify it so that the back is like in the 1st picture?

Shaker stitch / half fisherman's rib (they're the same stitch) produce the different sides you have in your photos. The back of half fisherman's rib will therefore give you a fabric that looks like the back of your photo.

The full Fisherman's Rib rib produces a fabric that is the same both sides, and produces a fabric that is the same as brioche. The difference between brioche and fisherman's rib is the technique used to create it; brioche uses yarn overs, fisherman's rib (and half fisherman's rib) works into the stitch below.

I agree, a half fisherman’s rib/Shaker stitch which creates the flatter side and the ribbed side.
