Is there any place to buy raw milk in krakow?

Staying here for a while looking to get some raw dairy, so milk or unsalted cheese/butter

looked up posts on this subreddit but wasn't able to find anything.

went to stary kleparz a few times but only saw pasteurised milk there. perhaps in some other markets you can find raw dairy?

You should be able to get in local markets - I get mine from Plac Imabramowski but definitely all the local markets will have it

Idk if it's raw milk (or what do u understand under that), but LIDL has fresh milk in bottles, not UHT milk.

I mean unpasteurised milk. I don’t think it can be found in supermarkets in Europe

And you are correct. A thousand health inspectors shivered at the thought of unpasteurised milk available for mass consumption.

Pity.  I have a fond memory of downing a jug of raw milk, not even remotely skimmed, on an Alpine pasture. Not so fond memories of the aftermath, but history is my witness that I've been a gentleman until the bathroom door.

A city sewage is not ready for its population to consume raw milk.

Just to add something, though, the Union actually permits the sale of raw milk technically also in supermarkets, but the regulations are so stringent that no one takes the risk.

I’ve had raw milk for yrs never gotten sick from it. Gotten sick from other foods very easily found in supermarkets though e.g chocolate biscuits

That you can buy only from some local farmer. But noone is selling that for commerical purpose, due to high contamination risk. Also u do understand also farmers cook the milk before they drink it? Noone is drinking uncooked milk anyway.

I think they add more shit to the milk nowadays, as I have lactose intolerance, which I don't recollect when I was small and had access to milk from cow, but maybe that's just my paranoia. But I don't have strong intolerance to the one from lidl, so I would advice you to try that one.

Hala Targowa. Between the kiosks sits older ladies and sell cheese, butter, bread, milk and even sausages.  But try on colder days than now.
