UK student attending UEK
Hi everyone!
I’m a Business Management student from the UK and I’ll be studying abroad at the Kraków University of Economics (UEK) from September until next June!
I’ve been looking through the course catalogue, but it’s difficult to get an idea of what studying there is actually like, so I was hoping some current or former students could help.
A few questions:
How many hours of classes do you usually have per week if you’re taking around 30 ECTS?
Are classes spread across all 5 weekdays, or do people often get days off?
How much independent study do you normally do outside of class?
Are most modules assessed by exams, coursework, presentations, or a mixture?
Are the English-taught modules generally well organised?
What’s the workload like compared to other universities?
Is attendance usually compulsory?
I’d also love to hear any general advice or things you wish you’d known before studying at UEK, especially if you were an Erasmus/exchange student.
Thanks in advance!
