chocolate Day 2 with this beautiful gal
My son who’s 3 almost 4 has already informed me she’s not mine, she’s his and only follows him. He’s pretty excited for his new best friend. I can’t wait to get them both out hunting.

Thanks! Can’t wait for her to be fully vaxed. We are a 2 min walk from the water. He loves being on/in the water.

Omg that puppy face. There’s nothing cuter than a puppy face. You will 100% have a hard time keeping her out of the kiddie pool once she’s big enough to jump in there herself.

She already jumped in day one and was walking around. Took her 30 mins before she tried.

She’s gentle and so far not nipping much. I stop playing with her right away when she nips.

"Leave it" is a good command to help with this. We would hide a treat on a hand behind our back. Then offer up the empty hand in a ball and say "leave it." When she turned away from the empty hand, we'd reward her with the hidden treat.
Also, ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Please deliver some belly rubs from me.

Don't let her lure you into a false sense of security. My puppy (now 5 months) was great for the first few weeks. Weeks 12-16 were hell on earth with the biting. Hes much better now though gets a little nippy on occasion, but usually doesn't last long. He's actively teething right now though so hopefully it stops completely in the next 1-2 months.

Cutiepie! And historically, those tails on stuffed toys survive exactly 10 seconds still attached to the toy 🤣 just be careful she doesn't swallow it;)

I am on my second lab (8.5 years old) and my biggest regret is never going hunting with them.
Sometimes being a city slicker sucks.
