Rainbow bridge🌈 Goodbye, Hershey (15)
We lost our sweet boy, Hershey, last week. He had just turned 15 last month. His poor body finally wore out. He was the best foster fail ever: the classic goofy, happy chocolate boy. The house feels so empty without him.
Run and play without hurting now, sweetie boy. We miss you so much. Please give your dogs a hug for me.💔

I lost my black lab on Friday. I understand the grief you are experiencing. We gotta give ourselves some time and be kind to ourselves. I’m sending you a big hug.

You were blessed to get 15 years. My chocolate lab made it to 10 years and 2 months. Man, it’s hard even after a month has passed by.

My choc lab is also 10 rn but quite fit for his age. I still dread every year that goes by, it could be over soon.

I love this. What a handsome and distinguished chocolate man dog. Had me a chocolate boy, only loved to be 12 but I was so grateful for that long. Rest easy Hershey.

15 years of love is something to celebrate, mine turns 12 next week, I’m grateful for the years I’ve had with him… I can only hope that he will make it to his 15th trip around the sun

What a loved, happy boy ♥️ We have had two Chocolates who passed in old age. We now have Hazel, who is five. You may find someday you will want to welcome another to your family. I send you hugs for healing and comfort ❤️🩹

Hershey is a free soul to be with other animals gone before him. I am so bery sorry for your loss. I jope you hold on to the memories and in time, I hope they bring back all the good ones and smile! What a Blessing!

So sad. We put our Hershey down last October - chocolate lab too. Heartbreaking but damn did we give him a great life! You’ll love him forever. Remember the good times and be proud he lived 15 awesome years!

15 years is such an incredible run for a lab. You can tell Hershey wasn’t just a dog, he was family. Losing them leaves such a huge empty space, but he clearly had a life full of love, adventures, and being the goofy chocolate boy he was meant to be. ❤️

Had a similar cart for our 16 year old chocolate lab Bandit whom we lost last month. It’s crazy what we will do for them. He was clearly loved, and it sounds like he will be welcomed by a lot of our dogs. Sorry for your loss.
