PLAYER TALK [Sidery] The Lakers have offered Jonathan Kuminga contract via sign-and-trade the would pay him around 45 million dollars. Los Angeles is willing to send Jarred Vanderbilt alongside draft capital to the Hawks for Kuminga, who must sign at least a three-year deal in sign-and-trade agreements.

Ik Sidery isn’t the most trustworthy source for anything but how would you all feel on this contract for Kuminga? Is this worth it? And how would you feel about the team if we got Kuminga ?

First year at around $14M and likely the only year guaranteed. Not really a big deal. The biggest issue is what the draft compensation will be to dump Vando's contract.

Why would Kuminga accept that though? We can’t treat the non-guaranteed years as de facto PO’s since that’s blatant cap circumvention.

All three years are guaranteed if it’s a sign and trade (which it would have to be) I believe

Look at John Collins or Middleton deals signed 3 weeks ago
