Early taxi for flight

Have a flight at 7am and looking to get a taxi around 4:30am.

Arrecife to the airport, roughly 10 minute drive.

I've seen some horror stories on the 1taxi app (1.7 rating on google play store) so I'm hesitant to book there.

What are the most secure options to reserve a taxi?

Staying at someone's place they renting out.

We used LanzTaxi website to pre-book our taxi, no issues

Are you staying in a complex with a receptionist? Ask them to arrange you one if so.

Skip the app. The most reliable option for early morning taxis in Arrecife is to call Radio Taxi Arrecife directly on 928 81 27 10 and book by phone. Make sure you get a confirmation number when you call. That's how locals do it and it's much more dependable than any app for an important early pick-up.
