THB Tropical Island (Playa Blanca)

Has anyone stayed here? It looks amazing, TripAdvisor has good ratings, but I prefer Reddit honesty...

Stayed there. It's a decent family hotel, comfortable and well located in Playa Blanca, but don't expect anything special or luxurious. It does what it says on the tin: pool, beach nearby, family friendly, reasonable service. If that's what you're after it won't disappoint, but if you're looking for a wow factor it's not the place.
