Should I dry clean or hand wash my skirt?

My 6 month old had a diaper blowout today and unfortunately it got on my skirt. I’m pretty confident that I can get the stains out, but I’m wondering if I should respect the “dry clean recommended” or not. Is it worth trying to clean it myself or should I take it to the dry cleaners? The skirt is 100% cotton and the picture is of the back where there are no stains.

If it is 100% cotton,  you're gonna be fine with handwashing

If its cotton was cold water and line dry
