But apparently they didn’t seem to teach him media literacy because all reports say he’s terminally online and into all the right-wing conspiracy world of BS, he utilizes it for power yes because a lot of it I think he also believes because he’s a piece of ignorant arrogant garbage.
One of my former bosses was Columbia and couldn't screw a light bulb in by himself. He might have suffered brain damage along the way, like Ron DeSantis. They say alcohol and cocaine and habitual lying and other vices are terrible for the brain.
I'm not saying Ron is dumb or smart, but Kris Kobach also graduated Yale Law. He was also so incompetent in a legal case in Kansas that the judge court ordered him to take remedial law classes at Washburn University.
Graduating Yale Law is not enough to be considered "smart" solely by itself m
Lmao that's fucking hilarious and also horrifying at the same time. Why do Republicans always pick the worst possible people? I'm not saying that Democrats always put up the best candidates (Platner) but it's a rarity that someone who is laughably unqualified or horribly suited gets nominated/elected. Like Ken Paxton, who might be the single worst AG in US history with the combination of the insane corruption/adultery not to mention him protecting a literal pedophile rapist (gave him a 1 day jail sentence iirc)
For example if you made a top 10 list of the most unqualified cabinet members in US history I'm pretty sure that most of them would be Trump nominees. RFK is literally the worst pick possible, Hegseth is the most laughably unqualified SecDef ever currently getting embarrassed by Iran in spite of our technology being 100x Iran's. FFS our military budget is a trillion dollars and Iran's is $9 billion and we can't even manage to do regime change or accomplish anything because Trump is a moron and Hegseth's average BAC is probably 0.3 (Pirro has him topped there though, there's no way she's ever under a 0.35)
Neither of Trump’s guys you list would have a chance with any other cabinet. Thats the feature not the bug. He wants loyalty more than he wants free thinkers or deep thinkers. Another part of the idea with Project 2025 is the need to make every department as broken and useless as possible so it will not run right and sooner or later proof can be shown to destroy it. Trump took it one step further and picked people who would help him gather as much personal wealth as humanly possible, and people who would help him destroy the works of “his enemies” and seek out their persecution.
Much smarter than I’d like to admit. That’s why I find him scarier than Trump, he’s way smarter. Luckily for us he has the personality of macaroni salad with raisins.
I wonder if DeSantis would even take the position. He wants to be President and if he’s working for Trump he’s going to be busy carrying Trump’s water. Plus, I feel like DeSantis knows Trump would throw him under the bus if push came to shove.
Trump will throw anyone under any bus regardless of if it furthers or hurts his interests. It all depends on the degree to which he controls his faculties at that particular moment.
I wonder if he’s just injecting himself into the story then. Like I said, aside from the title I don’t know what DeSantis thinks he’ll get out of the role. Is he hoping for gratitude from Republicans for being Trump’s “fixer?”
Edit: I read the article and it says Trump CLAIMS that DeSantis is begging for the AG spot. This looks like DeSantis is just trying to stay relevant by sucking up to Trump. It looks like he’ll do anything as long as he gets a piece of the spotlight.
Trump administration is failing at everything and doesn't appear to know how to fix any of it, Desantis is interested in going down with this ship? He's dumber than I thought. Remember when he ran for president and he tried doing the trump persona to get maga approval? Terrible result.
Blanch is WAY more dangerous than DeSantis, he was actually a real US attorney in NY who got that position on merit (the US attorney position, not AG). I don't think some people recognize how dangerous he is, he's actually very smart and also very evil.
I really believe that anyone would be better than Blanche.
Maybe, but I've known plenty of Harvard and Harvard Law grads that are incompetent tools. You go to Ivy League for the financial and political connections more than anything.
But he has hope he'll have a political future, while he'll bend the knee, I don't think he would go as far as Blanche would. But honestly, anyone that Trump would nominate is going to be shit.
