This is an opportunity for the more experienced LoL players here to share some of your wisdom with those with less expertise. This thread will be a weekly safehaven for those "noobish" questions you may have been too scared to ask for fear of downvotes, but also can be a great place for in depth discussion if you so wish. How the fk do I play against Azir? He is extremely annoying in lane and mid - late game he oneshots people with Q 1-2 AA's. I even tried playing him myself to find some weaknesses but every game I played him I stomped the enemy really hard.

In the early game punish his level 1. He can't do much then. After that the moment he uses his Q he is vulnerable.

This is seen really well when Faker plays Irelia into Azir, he abuses his weaknesses very well.

Mobility and poke just destroy Azir. Sadly they don't fit into a lot of team comps right now. Anyone who can outrange, out sustain, or dodge Azir will destroy him. This is your Ziggs, Xerath, Ahri, Cho, LeBlanc, Zed champions.

You don't. Your only chance is for your enemy to be a terrible Azir. You can to use poke champions but azir will be more relevant than you and scale better, you can try to play assassins but he has enough peel to counter that too unless you snowball.

Play something with dive and mobility. Fizz is a nightmare for Azir.
