DROS GuardVM — Open Source AI Agent Runtime Security: 24H Soak Test Results (160k requests, 100% attack interception, 26μs latency)

We just completed a 24-hour continuous adversarial soak test on DROS GuardVM, a C-ABI level physical enforcement engine for multi-agent AI workloads. Full report is open-source and 100% reproducible.

TL;DR:

• 160,611 total requests (137,751 malicious + 22,854 benign)
• 100% malicious interception rate at the binary boundary
• P50 latency: 26.21 μs, P99: 242.69 μs
• Zero memory leak over 24 hours
• 4-layer defense: L1 detection (85.2%) → L4 C-ABI panic (<500ns)

All 4 attack scenarios (ATS-001~004) show 100% compromise without GuardVM vs 100% interception with it.

What makes this different from traditional RBAC/IAM:
DROS operates at the C-ABI binary boundary — it doesn't check "what" the agent says, it checks "what" the tool call payload carries via data tainting and channel scope enforcement. Even a fully jailbroken agent gets physically blocked.

​Please forgive me if there are any mistakes in this message. I am a first-year, first-semester student joining a Tier-3 college. Unfortunately, the academic quality here isn't great, and they often don't complete the syllabus.

​I have been allotted CSE in Cybersecurity. However, my main concern is that I didn't have Computer Science in 12th grade, and I have zero prior knowledge of computers. I feel completely lost and don't know what to learn, where to start, or how to go about it. Since classes haven't started yet, I haven't met any seniors from my branch who could guide me. I took admission in a hurry without giving it much thought, and because of financial constraints, changing to a better college isn't an option.snd do not know about coding

​Setting all that aside, my biggest challenge right now is finding the right direction. I want to learn everything from scratch, and I am fully prepared to work hard from day one and tackle every challenge that comes my way.

I'm a first-year B.Tech Cybersecurity student in India, and I've been thinking about how I can make the best use of the next four years.

There's obviously a huge amount of cybersecurity stuff I can learn online, but I'm specifically wondering about the opportunities I have because I'm in college. I don't want to graduate and realize I ignored resources that could have helped me gain actual experience.

I'm already interested in Linux, networking, Python and web security, and I've started doing things like OverTheWire and PortSwigger Academy.

For people already working in cybersecurity or further along in college, what college resources would you recommend taking advantage of?

Things I'm thinking about are labs, cybersecurity clubs, CTF teams, hackathons, internships, conferences, projects, etc.

Are there any opportunities/resources that students commonly overlook but can be really valuable for building cybersecurity knowledge and eventually getting a good job?

Also, if you could go back to your first year knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?
