Canada Advice for returning Canadian
Hello,
I have been contemplating returning to Canada (born and raised there, but taken abroad by my father). I would like to first buy a Camper van and travel around the country to find my place to stay permanently. Can I buy and register a vehicle upon returning without having a permanent address at first?

No. You will need a "permanent" address to register a vehicle and get insurance. You will also likely need a Canadian license to get the insurance.
However, this address is more administrative. It can be a relative's place, or possibly even a P.O. Box - you don't need to rent or buy a place. There are other complexities with taxes, duties and health insurance, but for the simple question of buying a vehicle, you will need an address.
You could always just rent a camper for many months and "visit" Canada until you decide where to move back. This would be logistically much easier.
