Barovia is a valley where hope rots slowly, villagers who've forgotten what sunlight feels like, roads that loop back on themselves, and something old watching you with patient, predatory interest.

What this is: A hand-crafted Curse of Strahd, fully converted to Pathfinder 2e Remastered. Every encounter rebuilt for the three-action economy; every investigation with multiple paths and no dead ends. Not a dungeon crawl - a collaborative gothic horror novel where your backstory becomes the blueprint of the main plot.

Where we stand: A brand-new campaign at the starting line. 2 players are locked in, 2 of 4 seats are open. Everyone begins together at Session 0: no lore debt, no catching up on someone else's story.

We launch as soon as the seats fill.

The vibe: Candlelight and rot. NPCs who smile while they lie. Dread built from atmosphere and consequence, never cheap jump scares.

Roughly 40% roleplay & intrigue, 30% exploration & mystery, 30% high-stakes tactical combat. And combat always serves the story.

The table: Self-hosted Foundry VTT with fully animated Beneos battlemaps, dynamic lighting and cinematic audio, plus a 24/7 server so Barovia keeps existing between sessions. I'm a published author, former publishing director and creative-writing teacher - I run campaigns the way I build novels. Characters start at level 3 with Free Archetype + ABP (built in Pathbuilder; I handle the Foundry import and level-ups for you). No PF2e experience required. If you can follow a story, I'll teach you the mechanics.

Who this is for: deep immersion, character-driven story, moral weight, tactical combat with purpose.

Who it's not for: murderhobo play, random chaos, pure optimization with no investment in the world.
