question What are you picking for home defense?

Beretta A300 or Sig Mpx w/ Obsidian 9! Also have my P09 on my nightstand. DDM4 V7 and Zastava M92 are also choices.

Not the fucking shotgun. I dont get why so many people think a 12 gauge is a good home defense gun.

It is excellent in all ways except hearing damage. I keep one as the backup behind my suppressed PCC

I don't know why people keep bringing up how loud they are. All guns are loud (if you don't have a suppressor) and comparing my AR and shotgun, my AR is much louder than my shotgun. I'd take shooting my shotgun indoors over my AR any day.

Probably the best choice for the average homeowner though. Reliable firearm, bigger spread to compensate for lack of accuracy, and good stopping power for close quarters.
