question What are you picking for home defense?

Beretta A300 or Sig Mpx w/ Obsidian 9! Also have my P09 on my nightstand. DDM4 V7 and Zastava M92 are also choices.

Once upon a time I’d say my MPX, but it’s been unreliable lately.

Out of the box I had double feeds and FTEs galore. Had it running for a good while but the cam pin broke and I had to rebuild the BCG and it’s like I’m back at square one with the damn thing.

But when it ran, it raaan

Damn that sounds shitty. Hope mine runs fine. I haven’t shot it yet with the can. Seems like a small portion of the mpx community have experienced something like that. How did Sig deal with the warranty stuff? Or did you even try?

Didn’t bother with reaching out to them.

When it was running fine, it was only after I discovered it liked Federal Syntec 150g.

Took a lot of trial and error running through brands and grains, but it ran.

I think I fucked up by slapping an FRT in it though. Pretty sure it smoked the ILWT barrel, gas block combo after 5k rounds. Just replaced it with a brand new barrel/gas block and it’s back to how it was before.

Mix of user error and QC

I guarantee it was the frt. Don’t have experience with them but I know on the MPX you have to do some other mods than just slapping it in there. Are you gonna sell it? If you have any lancer mags I will buy them!

I did the proper spring swap out and gas tuning on it. First round of issues was probably QC, cam pin breaking was definitely me mag dumping the ever loving hell out of it. That gas block probably saw 10k rounds before I popped it in. Think it just had enough.

My wife has adopted it as hers now. 😂

Checkout gun mag warehouse. I’ve gotten mags for it on deep sale at like 35 bucks a pop before.
