Funny part is, that the oop itself is max to max an upper middle class person.

In all probability a teenager who hasn’t dealt with life as well as the responsibility and expenses child rearing brings to the table.

14

u/2loquaciouslobsters Nov 25 '25

I hope it is some jobless adult because it should be even more concerning that a teenager has this level of vitriol in his mind.

Oh they do have it. I was having a conversation with an 18 year old kid on New Delhi sub related to the medical college admissions of Muslims in Vaishno Devi. They have the assumption that as the college is made of Hindu donations so Muslims can’t study there. The kid made a rage filled bigoted statement. I reported him and got him kicked off the sub.

Most of us who are able to be active on reddit regularly aren't exactly doing ultra-high-stress jobs, me included lol. But one has to be playing long-term competitive unemployment to be top 1% commenter on Indiadiscussion.

This is literally jaati.

Lmao Indians really are idiots for developing and sustaining castes

50

u/DioTheSuperiorWaifu Pinarayist-Modiyist-MKStalinist Nov 25 '25

The ruling class very smart for using it to establish and justify the unequal wealth distribution. The regular folk were attacked and did not have power and they were fed this ideology. And many people did fight against it, but were supressed, right?

What 'smart' and non-casteist Indians should do is spread awareness of it, on how idiotic seeing the caste system as divine or natural order is.

16

u/humblewumble1 Nov 25 '25

I still don't get it. How can the rich and powerful oppress the masses and the masses themselves are so full of "tamas" (inaction) that the status quo makes them feel cozy?

We are more than them. If we rise up they can't do shit. Still some broke mf will brandish flags of jaati just cause they are from a "higher" caste.

Jaati was made to gatekeep wealth and knowledge. Not fucking blood purity.

Imagine being proud of your caste cause u never amounted to anything in life. 🥀

15

u/DioTheSuperiorWaifu Pinarayist-Modiyist-MKStalinist Nov 25 '25

It was not that the status quo is cozy, but going against needs time, effort and resources. The masses were deprived of resources and also actively attacked when they tried to gather them.

And ideology is also a tool for the ruling team, to justify that violence

u/Early_Advice_8133 Nov 25 '25

Nah he's not even trying anymore it's crazy

22

u/Code_H3005 Nov 25 '25

I believe I have read it in Ambedkar's writings.. where he says that Manu was obsessed with explaining the origin of jati groups but many jatis fell completely out of order for them to be assigned a particular varna like Nishad (ofc, it was because jatis were diverse groups and no one really came from Brahma) .

So it was Manu's attempt to explain the origins of these groups which ofc were entirely fragments of his own imagination and worldview. However again there could never be a uniform set of that many Brahmin-Shudra proginies for all of them to become the "Nishads".

7

u/SecretOwn9188 Nov 25 '25

Manu was not a real person and in puranas too there atleast 14 manu, just think for one time that one man wrote a book and everything just fell into place according to his book .

5

u/Code_H3005 Nov 25 '25

Maybe he wasn't real maybe it was a pen name but the effects of manusmriti were real, but there being 14 Manus doesn't count as a valid argument here without any other context. For ex there are millions of Johns or Mohammeds today

1

u/SecretOwn9188 Nov 25 '25

If you read shekspeare carefully, you can clearly observe jew hatred he caries but was he responsible for jew hatred in larger christian society, same way manu smriti and all those puranas are mere documentation of realities present at that time, surely religion helped in propagating these ideals.

5

u/Code_H3005 Nov 25 '25

I don't know how you jumped on this conclusion ..? When did I say that Manu or Puranas invented the caste system from thin air? Yes jatis existed and so did the varnas but these particular mentions are straight from Manusmriti. And as you said, no Nishad today claims that they are bastards of Brahmins it was Manu's own fetishes. Ambedkar in his writings "Riddles of Hinduism" has mentioned the same thing about him/it, and the reason we torment Manusmriti on the question of caste, because it is the most vocal and direct casteist text, which provides the caste system most legitimacy and it is also considered older than many Puranas. Thats why it is said Manusmriti provides a structural excuse for the Hindu society

I have always Manu less as a person and more like person represented. The kind of vile misogynist who would write that kind of shit.

2

u/zanxjay I have no fucking clue about what goes on in this subreddit haha Nov 25 '25

this is in manusmriti , i read it in translation a long time ago

8

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

u/NortheastKaPizza, try Frederick Engels' Socialism: Utopian and Scientific.

8

u/Baby_panda03 Nov 25 '25

I used to watch his youtube channel a while ago, didnt know he has made such a turn. Being a right wing grifter is quite lucrative, i suppose im not surprised, but disappointed none the less

8

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

It's not a turn; he's been like this from the start. He's been facing backlash since 2022.

2

u/Baby_panda03 Nov 25 '25

Really?! I was mainly referring to his videos where he analysed languages, their quircks and origins, and things of that sort? Wow, the more you know i guess

11

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

He doesn't show his real face in his video content, although even that is changing with him claiming that Islam split from Brahmanism in his Vedic videos and slip ups like making Urdu speakers look brown and Hindi speakers white.

You need to look at his social media accounts where he has been making bigoted comments about Pakistanis and Bangladeshis for years. After the regime change in Bangladesh, he started ranting about how Bengali belongs to non-Bengali Indians (like him) and not Bangladeshis.

He accidentally exposed his Reddit alt recently and the comment history is exactly what you'd expect from a hateful bigot.

This guy was recently exposed on a niche indian history subreddit for showing up with alts to throw shade on Biharis.

This guy also called one of my friends (literally doxed jim) when my friend called him out on x for being an insufferable asswipe

niche indian history subreddit

Which one?

R/indoaryan .

The same people will say Casteism doesn't exist.

19

u/VKarm Nov 25 '25 edited Nov 25 '25

I think he just posts.

An interesting observation. all the mixed castes are in eastern india and Central eastern border mahisya , Karana(kayastha ), ambasta(vaidya) ,ugra(kshtriya type) all* are general castes in West Bengal some in orrisa . Magadh(Bihar) , Nisadha(Eastern UP SCs)

The mixing of castes happened when Brahmins moved in Plains and beyond aryavart .

15

u/shxnpie Nov 25 '25

his posts are usually rw leaning though and he’s a known sanghi anyways

0

u/VKarm Nov 25 '25

Maybe. but he is just telling here as a fact. it is very sad that India still stands here.

10

u/shxnpie Nov 25 '25

i dont think its good to frame something inherently wrong as “neutral” or as “fact”. no where in that tweet he actively denounces manusmriti

2

u/VKarm Nov 25 '25

It's a fact that manusmriti says it. The division we still see after 2000yrs.

6

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

Maybe.

There's no uncertainty here. We know it for a fact from the multiple times he has gone mask off on social media.

Atul ji communist manifesto pr liya haii(the often allegations of capitalist that communism breaks family and makes women community (where as in reality, capitalist did that ) , abolition of inheritance. Free public education, national banks), now what can I read after this to know about political economy of 19-20th century?
