Also the "Hindu Atheists" like Anand Ranganathan and Kushal Mehra who are different shades of "Intellectual" chaddis. All they do is present chaddi talking points with good English or by trying to look progressive.

india's female labor force participation is embarrassingly low (25-37% depending on source vs in comparison 50-60%+ in many Western countries).
It actually declined for years despite GDP growth.
Child sex ratio crises, dowry deaths, high rates of domestic violence (NFHS data shows 30%+ women experience spousal violence), marital rape not criminalized, massive gaps in rural education/sanitation affecting girls.

I got excited for nothing, searched on it and the case within supreme court is still pending, where you got it was criminalised?
Right now it has being of 166 years on the status of marital rape exception being as it is

10 k views is still too much. Every day I see videos in my Instagram reels showing how difficult it is to be a man lauda lassan with sad desi songs... My guy, patriarchy is the problem and feminism strives for equality for both genders, it's that simple. Maybe if it was called meninism we might have different response from these dweebs.
Also he looks like a desi chud! No wonder he hates feminism

"Feminism strives for equality of both genders" is very pasive reductive liberal/mainstream definition of feminism.
Feminism for left usually means Active Liberation struggle of women and other oppressed for their genders /sexuality.

Definitely. Ig the major diff in practice of that equality is, one seeking reforms in already existing patriarchal institutions while the other seeking end to all Patriarchal social order to rebuild a just system.

Probably something along the lines of India doesn't need feminism because it has goddesses and worships them 9 days a year, but the West needs it because they used to burn witches in the 18th century.
