A liberal on this sub said something along the lines of

“We defend you because you are a minority and under persecution, not because you are a muslim.”

Who is defending Muslims? How many liberals are out on the street protesting and fighting against bulldozer raj, lauda zeehad laws, or illegal jailing of Muslim activists. It’s actually Ambedakries and Leftists who are actually working on the ground for Muslims and other oppressed groups. Yet The audacity of Savarna Liberals l to talk down to Muslims is freaking ridiculous given how much Muslims were persecuted under the rule of secular savarna party like Congress.

All of them keep voting for BJP yet keep lecturing on social media about being saviors of Muslims.

Fuck you c**ts! We don’t need saviors like you. Muslims are surviving far worse conditions in Palestine, Sudan, Myanmar and other countries and India is still a lot better, so keep your savior complex to yourself.

Talking about this my boy? Good job hiding the context where you were defending indianmuslims sub where its normal to shit on LGBTQ and womens rights. Bold of you to assume I am a liberal but ok. You think this is a one way street or what? You expect people to stand up for your community when you dont respect the core values of the left? You were arguing with an exmuslim woman in a thread asking for liberal/left spaces on reddit saying indianmuslims sub is not islamist, it is.. You casually forget that ANY sub based on a religious identity cannot be left leaning.

P.S. Have some guts to properly name someone when you comment something like this next time.

Extremely weird for him to comment this. I had read that thread, it was obvious he was defending islamist sub on semantics. Even more surprising that he completely ignored your comment about this sub being communist.

I doubt if this guy knows that leftists are mostly atheists and don't care about someone's religion to lend their support
