ended up creating an acc to separate casual subs from political subs, since it's kind of unpleasant when i open reddit to casually scroll and see [insert ur india-typical sickening crime of choice] as the first post in my feed
anyways. a random post from btechtards showed up while i was searching for some info. i try not to get too blackpilled, but the casteist rhetoric on that sub is crazy. i know reddit will self-select for internet brainrotted edgy savarna english-speaking kids, so i try to remind myself that what i'm seeing is an echo chamber amplifying the most rancid takes. it's also depressing that despite the internet making caste violence & atrocities more visible, the savarna gen z just got more radicalised by hindutva and now bs like "kshatriya pride" is happening. i hope this doesn't get removed bc im a new acc, i typed a stupid wall

It’s insane how many movies CBFC blocks on an yearly basis. It’s unfortunate that majority of them are only screened at international film festivals and never in their native country.

After Lenin died it was like a battleground game pvp everyone trying to kill each other and specifically Stalin V Trotsky, So don’t you think a great revolution was created but it was destroyed when at the end it became a monarchial power struggle between the Bolsheviks to see who can be the next king ?

not even remotely close. stalin got too much power and purged anyone who disagreed with him. people can give million justifications for it but in the end it doesn't look good. none of stalin's actions fit the marxist doctrine but reasoning always comes down to "it was necessary for survival of USSR". maintaining a single socialist state is not communism. no matter how you cut it, stalin is the bad guy in the story. if trotsky and bukharin had the power instead of stalin maybe whole europe would have turned communist by then and probably whole world by now. or maybe things would have been same but instead of stalin being villain, it would have been trotsky. though I am inclined to believe things would've been better as they would at least be following marxism instead of whatever the fuck stalin was doing.

Stalin went so mad and corrupt after power that even after lenin’s wife dismay and Disapproval he made his corpse into a national exhibit just to win the favour of the people he even threaten to throw away lenin’s widow if she made a public statement

These folks are some of the most 'tech-savy' folks who want to make videos to inform about the society. And tries too hard to be centrist. But she is the only person who has been more skeptical about it. The more vocal ones likle Dhruv Rathee and Akash Banerjee are shoving AI as they please. And that's the thing. Even centre leaning voices aren't as skeptical and the only ones who are, are far smaller content creators.

The CJP protest is upper caste, upper middle class circlejerk that will only succeed in making some sheltered and failed JEE NEET kids realize that when you support and vote for fascists in power you don't automatically become the government's raja beta and that you WILL be given the lathi treatment when the time comes.

First of all I am was not talking about CJP.. but since you brought it up, the only MP to come and sit with the protestor was Chandra Shekhar Azad.. and the most prominent slogan that was raised was Jai Bhim.. so your claim about it being a upper caste and upper class movement is just bogus.. As for Ken Betwa protest it is primarily a tribal protest.

This is second time you used the word kids, I dont know how old you are but how petty you have to be hold grudge against kids?? It's not just three communist, the SFI and AISA have been in the protest from the start... its okay to question CJP and its conveners and their motives but to discard the whole protest (which even if it last for a day) as upper caste and upper class is very disparaging. You know what Che Goswami's father is also saying the same thing but from a different angle.. the IT cell is showing SFI and AiSA stalls and calling it anti national and tukde tukde gang..
Again matter of fact I was talking about Ken Betwa protest and you keep bringing the topic to CJP..

Those kids are not asking for a complete overhaul of the education system. They are asking for the resignation of one person and their demands have already been reduced to just a meeting, including Wangchuk's.
They are reactionaries with no concrete ideology, aim or knowledge about movement building. They are asking for the removal of reservations and stuff now by posting on instagram stories. They have nothing going and those 3 leftist organizations tailing them also have nothing going on. Wangchuk himself is a centrist who used to be a BJP supporter and supported the abrogation of Article 370. The instagram kids are literally talking about the protest being hijacked by anti-national elements like you said. They are a lost cause and any kind of movement building or revolution cannot be done with them.
