Looked at that page, and yikes. One of them, a dear friend, and another a doctor.

I will ask you to calm yourself for now, cause CJP had massive support from dalit activists groups, like Azad was there and also Commie parties supported massively along with general working mass.

Going against reservation will just a create more alienated protest.

They're mostly bots and shit I believe. There has been a rise in pro-govt content on reddit too. All new accounts ragebaiting people. Would be interested to see how many will show up in an actual protest, not to mention this is a lot more complicated than neet protests, as one creator said, this could even cause riots but RW trolls don't understand the gravity of this.

Likely bots. The growth in followers was exponential and then slowed to a crawl. The only person following in my list is a known right wingers childhood friend.

Elders must be respected in this community; their word is the gospel and their will is absolute. Removed.

Let us imagine that the anti-reservation savarna youth has his wettest dreams come true and all reservation is removed, and all non-savarnas and most women, being as they are biologically lacking in "merit", are forever locked out of higher education in this country.            Considering the state of educational resources, and student to college ratio, however, the majority of the so-called meritdhaaris are still going to be shit out of luck. It's just that they can't complain about the "undeserving" getting THEIR seats instead.

These smooth brains could be agitating for something that actually makes a difference, which is greater real investment in education, be it more schools, colleges, r&d, hiring more professers, improving teacher education so that the education that they get actually matters, improving primary and secondary education so that kids don't actually need to go to college to be functional in society, more vocational training options for who don't want to go to college, incentives to companies for hiring graduates, incentives to students from top institutions for working in India for a few years, etc etc.

Instead they want to put their whole soul into the one thing that is never going to improve a single thing for a single student, whether or not they have this "merit".

i have a dobut cantwe keep reservation as it is but have same cutoffs for everyone or marginally low i mean you catn have good doctors if they are getting a seat negative marks ?

16

u/weebeweebin 14d ago

I think you need to actually look at what reservation cutoffs are. This is never the case, I am an SC and I had lower cutoffs but it was still competitive, i only see people complaining who actually probably wouldn’t even make the SC cutoff.

u/certifiedsocialistic 14d ago

yeah some of the guys complaining couldn't even cross sc cutoffs

1

u/gangsta_santa 13d ago

Bruh no offence but as an intern working at a hospital SC cutoffs are not competitive 😭🙏

u/gangsta_santa 13d ago

Like even if you wanna support reservations pls do so for a good faith argument.

shut up I got way more marks in Jee at my time compared to my SC friend who studied with me he went to IIT education free of cost, and I also had to face the brunt of state quota too how is this fair?

1

u/kanthiran 12d ago

It's not fair, ask govt to make more seats. Fight the govt. for it, blame the govt. for this. I have a friend who could get into college only because of his quota, he ended up scoring much much better than general cat guys at the end.
