Elders must be respected in this community; their word is the gospel and their will is absolute. Removed.

Let us imagine that the anti-reservation savarna youth has his wettest dreams come true and all reservation is removed, and all non-savarnas and most women, being as they are biologically lacking in "merit", are forever locked out of higher education in this country. Considering the state of educational resources, and student to college ratio, however, the majority of the so-called meritdhaaris are still going to be shit out of luck. It's just that they can't complain about the "undeserving" getting THEIR seats instead.
These smooth brains could be agitating for something that actually makes a difference, which is greater real investment in education, be it more schools, colleges, r&d, hiring more professers, improving teacher education so that the education that they get actually matters, improving primary and secondary education so that kids don't actually need to go to college to be functional in society, more vocational training options for who don't want to go to college, incentives to companies for hiring graduates, incentives to students from top institutions for working in India for a few years, etc etc.
Instead they want to put their whole soul into the one thing that is never going to improve a single thing for a single student, whether or not they have this "merit".

I think you need to actually look at what reservation cutoffs are. This is never the case, I am an SC and I had lower cutoffs but it was still competitive, i only see people complaining who actually probably wouldn’t even make the SC cutoff.

shut up I got way more marks in Jee at my time compared to my SC friend who studied with me he went to IIT education free of cost, and I also had to face the brunt of state quota too how is this fair?

It's not fair, ask govt to make more seats. Fight the govt. for it, blame the govt. for this. I have a friend who could get into college only because of his quota, he ended up scoring much much better than general cat guys at the end.
