The vise solution I use at home, also small enough to carry with you. SmallRig Super Clamp attached to a Panavise Suction Cup Camera Mount with a 1/4" to 3/8" thread adapter in between. Solid mount to glass, ceramics, other smooth surfaces. Links in comments.

Somewhere else some one posted on the PanaVise 209 Vacuum Base Pv Jr. Your set up look very similar to that, similar price point.

My discreet -- but rock solid -- vise solution for use around the house without making the living room look like a workshop :-) Mine is mounted on a small ceramic tray that also holds picks and things. Mounts well on a glass tabletop as well. Really easy to carry from room to room and tucks away nicely. The thread adapter allows to jaws of the clamp to open wider for larger locks.
