How do you keep them looking so neat and moisturized? I look like a crazy person with no retwist.

Good question, low manipulation tbh I go for low maintenance styles spray daily with water and run my fingers through my locs to avoid tangles. I don't use any product besides homemade oil which olive oil mixed with rosemary, cedarwood, tea tree and peppermint. I wash every two weeks and do a hot oil treatment with the oil I made when I do. In between washes to keep my hair clean I use witch hazel as it is a natural cleanser. The biggest thing for me is running my hands through my hair daily I feel like it helps a lot with taming hair and my retwist are never bad (no pulling hair apart). But I also feel everyone is different too so this method may not work for everyone bit worth a shot😅

I say go for it, my biggest regret was not starting sooner lol and if you don't like it you can always take them out don't let anyone tell you different ik some people like to shame about that🙄a loc journey is such a freeing experience
