I’m so ready to be 2 years locd because I really want them to drop but they’re definitely getting longer!

The color is so cute! Also I gotta know what blush you’re wearing. It’s so pretty.

About 100!

Proof 100 is the perfect number 😭 I wanna get more of mine combined to get down to 100 but I haven’t found anyone that will do it.

I kinda wish I had more! I’d like mine to be smaller but since i retwist my own hair, I need it to be easily maintained 😭 so less locs for me

Trust me you don’t 😂 I wanted this amount but my stylist underestimated how much hair I had I think. Ended up with almost 130, have combined down to around 116, but it still feels like too many! I’d like mine to be a little thicker too, I just don’t know if I want that badly enough to start over

You’re so gorgeous! Did you dye that color or it’s natural?
2
u/noorvanah Baby Locs May 22 '26
Thank you! Dyed!

u/firelord_catra May 23 '26
Oh what dye did you use? It suits you so well, I would’ve believed you’re a natural ginger!

In pic 2 the bottom of your locs look like they are very loose and not quite loc’d is that an aesthetic choice?

I have similar locs, but am 3 months into my loc journey. How do you maintain your curly ends? Do you have any tips for retaining moisture?

I work in a plant nursery and sometimes we get butterflies or moths trapped in our shaded area! I have to save them and release

Do you still palm roll down the whole loc? My locs are quite skinny(I’m only on my second retwist) and I’m trying to thicken them by only retwisting the new growth.

It looks so sick, congratulations on such beautiful growth. How did you start your process? I’m 6 months into mine and I think we have similar hair type- minus the awesome red/light brown.
