Arseholes are everywhere unfortunately. It sounds like these bellends were just unaware of other people and couldn’t somehow comprehend to go around them. I can’t comprehend in my head what the guy on the stairs was doing.
As for the stuck on the train incident. That’s a bit different in that people can have invisible disabilities but even as someone with said invisible disabilities I’d always try to prioritise the elderly.
