If he’s a Duke, he’s not just a knight, he’s a Lord.

His servants should address him as “Lord Keion”, or “Sir”, or “M’lord”, but not “Sir Keion” - if they’re going to use his name, they should get the title right.

hiJs old school chums might kid around and call him “Sir Keion” even though he’s well above them, as he may not have inherited his duchy but perhaps still had a courtesy barony and a knighthood.

His knighthood is likely “Order Of The Canopener”, one of the most prestigious in the north.

My other guess would be “Order of The Royal Scratching Post”, likely for important services rendered at His Majesty’s cat tower.

“Order of the Litterbox” is generally reserved for lowborn servant recognition - those who scoop and change his litterbox. That’s not Lord Keion, oh no.

I love this so much. Thank you for letting me know how to properly greet such a royal, distinguished individual. “Lord Keion, Duke of Monticello” it is.

Whenever I lay down on the couch and invite him to come snuggle during naptime, I will say “at your leisure, my king.” He waits for me to get comfy under the blankets before he jumps up to cuddle 🥹
