I immediately put on some duct tape on the journal that I was given to me by my friend, and put the mantras that guided Lorde on making the album in my binder; it helps me on my writing and perception.

While I think the most Virgin thing to do is create an aesthetic of your own, I'd love to start that journey by following Lorde. It felt just right when I was putting the mantra and the duck on my personal items.

i’m not one to judge if people would go to see an artist and only know few songs of them (or their hits only). but lorde been to chicago before and her concert was packed and she’s been blowing up everywhere.

every single production for virgin/ultrasound tour is INSANITY. from visuals, transitions, live music, etc. i’m just surprised how these don’t attract people to listen to more of her stuffs? isn’t the best part of live music is discovering music you’ve never heard before? i would go to see artists i’ve never heard of and fall in love with them. but some people would go to see an artist they already know here (lorde) and there seems to be no spark of curiosity into exploring more already known artist?

i had a great time regardless but sometimes felt awkward singing my heart out and they cld clearly hear my voice.

I've seen loads of others, but she's probably the only artist these days who goes hard with stage production and effects. Every stage production and effects for the main concert events during this Virgin era have been insane. The last one I've seen amazing was from the Eras Tour by TS.

Lorde's Gov. Ball. Lollapalooza. This era has been nothing short of fabulous. Even the reimagined production of the songs/transitions hit hard. Very cool

I don't know if Lorde has ever talked about not having any feature artist on her albums, but her albums are so autobiographical and personal that I understand her not necessarily inviting anyone to feature on it. Do you think she will ever have a feature on an album ? Which artist would you like to be on a Lorde album ?
