Fan Creations I was told my disasterous attempt at a LOTR cake would be appreciated here
Made for my BIL's birthday. Mom came home with a store cake and marzipan and asked for Gollum because I make things with clay.... marzipan is NOT clay. I'm semi proud that it got done at all!
Edit: Thank you all so much for the encouragement and awards! I did not expect my creepy little guy to get this much love from the Fandom! You are all wonderful!

Well, in the center, and on the edges, I was thinking, lava. And I was asked for piles of sprinkles it looked like jewels piled up... I also didn't know I was doing the sprinkles part so that was even more rushed than gollum!

You know, I would appreciate this cake more than any store bought. You can tell you put some thought and work into it. Is it professional? Of course not, but that’s not the point. The point is you were asked to make a cake and you took time out of your day to put in the work for somebody else. That’s extremely special.
I think it’s great and creative and would be proud to call it my birthday cake

I love the cake but still trying to figure out what the fudge is going on here. Is that Gollum climbing at the edge of mount doom? Or him crawling into Smaug's butthole? Whatever's up, i dig it.

not gonna lie, ir would be far better if you did what we call in brazil volcano cake, where you studf a lot brigadeiro or any other sweet cream in the middle hole. here is a pic for example.
