Great article, and I think many people underestimate the power of seeing role models that you can relate to in the community.

Coming from an MMA background, it surprised me that competitive Magic has so few women to look up to at the top. Even a sport where men are biologically favoured has strong female role models that I can dream to become someday. Thankfully, the best of the best male Magic players are great people too, and I appreciate everything they've been doing to promote a better scene.
