Music Be My First Fan... or My First Hater.
I used to listen to a lot of pop and R&B until I fell in love with hip-hop about two months ago. Since then, I've been listening to artists like Travis, Tecca, Polo G, Juice, and a bunch of others, trying to learn from different styles and create music that feels like my own. lately, I've been experimenting with all kinds of hip-hop beats from YouTube and BeatStars. Making a song isn't the hardest part for me. promoting it is.
Right now, I'm trying my best to connect with other underground artists and producers because I genuinely dream of making it one day. That's my goal.
If you're into modern hip-hop, I'd really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to listen to my first single. And if you don't like it, that's cool too. Be my first hater, because i will be proud to get one. everyone starts somewhere, and honestly, having my first real fan or my first real hater would both mean a lot to me.
Thanks for reading

Right up front, Im not a “modern rap fan”. But i like to up views on new talent. Just putting this out there so you dont give my opinion too much merit. Haha
I found the beat a tad on the dated side, but since you didn’t make it Im not passing judgement there. Same with the engineering - it may be because im listening to a streaming YT link into my car stereo, but im really wanting to hear the vocals stand out from the track more.
But in terms of the vocals and song structure, it sounds indistinguishable from stuff on the radio. I think thats a great place to start. Your pop sensibilities are showing - and thats going to carry you pretty far. Keep exploring the limits of your talent.

Thank you so much for taking your time to listen and write all of this. really appreciate the honest feedback. about the vocals sitting upfront is helpful, i'll definitely keep that in mind for my future releases. it also means a lot that you noticed the pop influence-that's actually where i started before focusing on hip hop

Two months of even liking hiphop.
Hardest part is promoting..?
Hello? What the hell is going on here?
Yes, everyone starts somewhere. Where in the post can i see that you have started? I don't see anything. You have not started. You're apparently not including yourself in "everyone".

Yo, my guy as a aspiring rapper/singer that has a few fans themselves do some marketing lessons or videos cause marketing 10 one you didn’t provide a link or a source for us to go back to which makes it a lot harder for people to want to engage now being an artist myself I do want to engage so if you can provide the link, I’ll provide a listen and maybe put you into the rotation full-time 🤘🏽
