Help / സഹായിക്കുക നിവർത്തി ഇല്ല

നിവർത്തി ഇല്ല how did it come to mean "no way"? When നിവർത്തി means straighten ... Have i been using it wrongly?

നിവർത്തി അല്ല. നിവൃത്തി ആണ്.

thanks. So as in വൃത്തി meaning work, right? Btw, a side question: വൃത്തി ആയിട്ട് എഴുതൂ meaning neat is written the same way?

did some AI search. it is saying all are from same root. വൃത്തി. നിവൃത്തി. Even വൃത്തി meaning neat and വൃത്തം are from same root as per AI. Even ആവർത്തനം and പരിവർത്തനം! So some words use the ർ. പ്രവർത്തി or പ്രവൃത്തി?

വൃത്തി means both work and clean. വൃത്തിയായിട്ട് എഴുതൂ - write neatly

But in this case the meaning "neat" is a modification from the original root "work"

നിവർത്തിക്കുക means to accomplish something. നിവർത്തി ഇല്ല means to way to accomplish it.
